We are learning about Christmas traditions around the world. today I learned that lots of different people in different country's put different treats out for Santa and his reindeer.Where he can find a bowl of risengrod or rice pudding.

Can you please tell me about some other Christmas traditions around the world. tThank you.

" Alarm call "

For the hole week we were writing a story about a picture and we also had to have a unexpected twist how we did this in the picture it looks like hes going to stomp on the poor little innocent Kitten but you had to make something else happen see if you can find out what my twist is.

“Alarm Call”

Spweek!!! go’s the toy ball my heart is beating as fast sprint car. The troll is making sure that he not going to step on a toy ball again. But he step on one of the toy balls but this time it went sqweeeeee!!!. All of a sudden the kitten … woke up. “Don Don Don”  noooooooo the kitten is alive . Aaaaaaaaaa stop trying to like meeee because you look like a Marshmallow.

The kitten knew Karate so the kitten got the Monster in a headlock then the kitten eat the Monster leg ahaaaaa. Then the kitten eat the Other leg  then she eat’s his arm and the other arm.  Then the Monster bled to death.

I hear kids cheering, going on in the hall like the super rugby final but it’s for kiwican .

I watch kids playing on the basketball court.

The scent of the brand new refreshing furniture is grate.

I touch the glossy, cool whiteboard tables.

I feel great because I was one of kids at the new school.

Land And Sea Day #2

This week for literacy we have been doing activates to learn about New Zealand there are 7 places in New Zealand, we have done two so there is 5 left. Activity one was we had 3 places that we had to read about the 3 places and picked the best. then wrote about it.

The 2 activity there was a girl Laura and there was a video we watched, she travelled around the world in a boat. We had to ask 5 questions to her.

Bonus activity we had to get a buddy and share 5 thing outside

SHS New zealand road trip #Day 1

Today all of the literacy classes got told that their is a competition. This competition  is about who can get the most points from the activitys. The first and second activity is worth 2 points each and the bonus is worth 8 points. We had the whole of literacy time to complete it and the deadline is 4.30 in the afternoon here Is Day&80">

Calendar art

In this past week we have been making our calendar art. We had a choice between a Koru, a grid with hearts in each grid or a city scape with a grid and different shades of a colour and that's what I chose. So first I planned a grid. Then we drew a grid or the proper bit of paper and painted in the grids here is mine

we have been learning about logos . first i drew about 5 or 6 different designs about myself. I choose rounded rectangle because i love to watch you tube. I choose the colour red because it is my favourite colour .the letter represent the start of my name .

Penguin art

WALT use paint to create the effect of feathers. This is my Penguin Art this took me 3 days to complete.So first I sketched the penguin then I painted the lines black then the next day I painted the penguins body orange and yellow then blended it in with white paint the the last step I did was painted the eye green. 

Antarctica Description

WALT: I was Learning to write a decription correctly

First we went to in the Antarctic Center and then we wrote about some of the things we learnt.
Here is my description

Antarctica   

Brrrrrrrr!!! Wintry, icy Antarctica! Antarctica is one of the 7 Continent in the world and it is one of deserts in the world.

There is Ice and snow 2500 metres (2.5 km) deep of snow Land under it. Land under it Has most of worlds snow and ice. - 90% sown and  ice .Surrounded by the ocean

Antarctica is 2 time bigger than Australia and 25% bigger than Europe and in the Summer and it is day time and in In winter it doubles in size because of the sea ice. The southernmost continent. Antarctica look like a weird shaped moon but on earth.

Antarctica located at the bottom of the world and the Antarctic is at the top of the world.

I would like to go Antarctica because I would like to Study  Antarctica.

Emperor Penguin

Walt: I was Learning how animals adapt to living in Antarctica.

First we went to the Antarctic Center.  

Through the next day we got to write about Antarctica and we had to write in the genre of an information report.

Emperor Penguins live in Antarctica. They are a bird.

They have an black beck and a black head. and a little bit of yellow on the side of their head.  

The eat  fish in Antarctica, also krill and squid.

The  Average Height: 115cm - 3.8ft.and Average Height:30kg - 66lb.

They look cool because they are tall like me.
